This instrument was built by the organ builder Joseph Callinet in 1850.
The case was realized by Pédrini, joiner - cabinet maker manifestly known in Haute-Savoie and was classified as "Historic Monument" in 1975.
Two years later, it's the turn of the instrumental part to be classified as "Historic Monument".

It is the third organ " Callinet " restored by the workshop Quoirin.
In every case, the restoration of these very characterized instruments has been difficult, the concern being to distort none of the elements remained intact and to reconstitute elements disappeared with the maximum rigour.

The organ of Sallanches having profoundly been transformed, approximately 50 years ago, it was necessary to reconstruct, according to the method of the workshop Callinet, a big part of the action (rollerframes, stop action, keyboards) and the wind supply.

The pipework must be completely lengthened to find the original tone and the case was completely cleaned to return to the fair tint slightly enhanced by a Lac varnish, typical of the organs of Callinet.
