MATOURY (GUYANE) Orgue de l'Eglise Saint-Michel 2 claviers et pédalier – 30jeux L'instrument a été construit selon un plan classique : 2 plans sonores constitués d'un positif au bord de la tribune et d'un buffet principal à l'arrière. Le buffet, de style contemporain a été dessiné en suivant la pente du toit de l'église. Le décor sculpté, peint et doré à la feuille d'or, est inspiré de l'art traditionnel du peuple Saramaca, implanté en Guyane. L'orgue est posé sur une tribune en angélique qui reprend le dessin et les principes techniques de la charpente de l'église. 3 Keyboards and pedalboard – 30 stops The instrument was built according to a classic plan : 2 divisions constituted by a positive at the edge of the gallery and of the main case behind. The case, of contemporary style was drawn by following the slope of the roof of the church. The sculptured decoration, painted and gilded with gold leaves, is inspired by the traditional art of the people Saramaca, implanted in Guyana. The organ is put on a stand in angelica which resumes(takes back) the drawing and the technical principles of the skeleton of the church
